dvdrip strangeness

LOTS of people are using dvdrip. Why not me? It seems like, in order to do this, I need to click on "rip title" then read DVD table of contents. However, doing that, it fails with this:
Error compiling lsdvd output: syntax error at (eval 76) line 76, at EOF
. Output was:
After this is a LOT of output, but, it can't continue after that. I have lsdvd-0.16-2.fc5.rf it doesn't complain about that in listing from "debug -> check dependencies", Any ideas on what to try?

I don't know about that, but one thing is you have to read the table of contents before you hit rip title. You have to select the title you want to rip before you can rip it.

Thank you
Right, that's exactly where the issue is, lsdvd's output is not accepted, so that leaves the thing dead in the water
