dual system

In the working environement that I am in I am forced to have a win 2k installation on my system and I have it dual booting with FC3.. I would rather use a floppy to handle booting when I want to use FC3.. Is there anyway during install that I can make this happen?

Thanks

I not familar with FC3 install. But the easiest way is to make a boot disk during the install of Linux. Install the bootloader in the master boot record (MBD). Them boot to Windows and type fdisk /mbr, this will eraese the master boot record. Then use the floppy to boot to Linux. Make sure you have two or three boot disk on hand, just in case one or two go bad.

How would I make a boot floppy though? This option is not available during the install.. When I was using Mandrake, it gave me that option....

The option to create a bootdisk should also be available in the System section of your menu.

mkbootdisk should do it.
