I currently have a dual-layer DVD burner (
this one). As you can see on the specs, it
does say that the DL write is "DVD+R DL 8X". I snagged
these blank DVD+R DL discs. Nautilus registers is as "CD-ROM Disc". That was disconcerting at first, but I figured it was just a rendering thing.
When I attempted to write 7GB of data to it I received this message:

Please replace the disc in the drive with a supported disc with
at least 7.2 GiB free. The following disc types are supported:

Obviously not listing the supported discs doesn't help me any.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
