Dual boot Fedora/XP Newbie

I am Installing XP on a 80GB HD that already contains Fedora core.
As someone who grew up in the Microsoft metaphorical closet I have just recently been introduced to Linux. knowing little more than; i have a buggy XP system that has been slowly hacked at with spyware etc, I reformatted and Installed Fedora. Still needing to have my "fix" of XP i would like to install it on a seprate partition ... Here in lies my problem:

What are the Linux commands to create a boot disk? (so that when windows over writes my MBR I can still boot to Linux)

I have heard fdisk would be the route for partitioning, but having no experiance dont know the commands ...

in fdisk:
I have
Disk /dev/sda: 80 GB, 80026361856
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9729 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Deviced boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 14 9729 78043770 8e Linux LVM

I want to partition off a sector for installing XP (30GB)
--what would be the exact commands for doing so?
(any additional tips you can suggest would be greatly apreciated)

on the level of installing/re-installing GRUB (that i am using as my boot program) after the addition of XP using my boot disk to get back into Linux ...
how would i then command a dual boot option for Linux/XP?

Thank you for all your help with a new user.

I belived having a fedora iso disc will answer most of your questions.

When installing in GUI mode, fedora should promt you for disk options and etc.

You do not have to manually configured anything initially .. unless you choose to.

Hope it helps.

to create a bootdisk - read this tutorial.
http://phuzz.org/archive.php?name=linux (it seems you need to make a "boot cd" )
you should be able to gui partition your drive in fedora. just add a NTFS (? or whatever) partition.

what about a boot loader on a floppy?

Greets!
Ok, let me tell you my own experience.
Right now i was reading the forum looking for help, this thread seems perfect for what i am about to describe.

I had windows instaled on a 2 particion drive.
half the drive i got the windows XP, the other half, was empty, i instaled fedora, from which i am right now typing, all fine with fedora instalation, all working.
but in boot i dont see my dos instalation anymore.
How can i configure dual boot?

Last time i had to quit linux bewcause most my work is being acomplished on windows enviroment.
Last time i had this problem, i simply deleted the particion with linux.
But right now, i thought if i instaled again the fedora box, all would be fine, unfortunately, thats not what happened.
but im willing to try to find an answer for this.

i must say, i did the same process b4 with redhat 8 and had no dual boot problem, the dos instalation was there in the boot screen and i could chose between both.
now i want fedora, would be great to have fedora, but i need the dawn windows at least for the time being.

Any ideias? Sugestion?
Anyone faced the same trouble?

ok- you didn't configure your boot loader- google up on that, and you should be able to tell it to give you the option of booting into windows.

Where did you install fedora? (disk wise) are you sure you put it in the empty partition?

I'm assuming you are using grub...
