I just downloaded Fedora 12 for vm. I do not even know how to (I have winrar on this winxp pc) get it from winrar to VMPlayer. New to linux, so I of course have no clues.
If I am on the wrong forum, please give me a proper place to go.

Reason: ps
Where is the VMplayer installed ?
If you have winrar installed on XP, right click the .rar and it should have extract here, or other options. If not, just double click it to launch winrar.
When you've extracted it, open VMplayer, and it asks you to select an image. Browse to the extracted files and it will highlight the right one when it finds it.
