Does Fedora2 have cd/cd-rw issues?

Q: Does Fedora core 2 need any tweaking for using cd-rom/cd-rw/cd-audio devices?

I use mainly Slackware 9.1. There were some irritating issues with device permissions, fstab entries, user group membership, etc for a normal user to mount/use these devices. This was a bit annoying to have to make these mods, especialy when other distros don't always need this. I don't mind the learning process, but I have less and less free time nowadays.

What tweaks are needed in Fedora2 for cd devices?

Hi.

It worked straight out the box for me. I'm able to burn CDs and DVDs in K3b with no tweaking at all.
