Do I need to reinstall NVIDIA driver?

I'm about to get a new NVidia card (go Nvidia, you're the best) and I was wondering if I have to reinstall the drivers. My current card is the GeForce 4 MX440, and I'm switching to the GeForce FX(not sure which one). Do I need to reinstall the Nvidia drivers, as I would really rather not.

I haven't actually tried, but as nVidia provides a single driver for all its video cards (for Linux - and a sinlg eone for all GeForce cards under Windows) I suppose you won't have to reinstall the driver.
(Was itreally that difficult to install the driver? I found it rather easy.)
