do I need all the shells?

1) What is the main shell used on a kde system?

2) do I need all the other shells installed on a fedora core 1 system?

3) Which shells is best to keep and why?

1) it doesn't matter if you have kde or not. the default on linux is Bash.

2) you only need the ones you want.

3) http://cbbrowne.com/info/unixshells.html

When you grab a console in KDE is uses whatever shell your Linux normally uses. (Usually Bash) Unless you know otherwise, you probably only need Bash.

type some giberish. it will probably say something like
Code:
$>jibbajabbajibbajabba
bash: command not found
If it says "bash" in there, you're using Bash.
