1- If i download the DVD fedora Core 4 now
i receive the "newest" one ?? or must i download all the updates in there site ? 2 - If i have all the updates in a cd is there any chance to upgrade a linux machine without a connection to internet ? |
Fedora don't release "Patch" releases, you'll get the base FC4 installation which you'd then update via yum / apt / up2date. you wouldn't manually download any updates.
updates are kept under /var/cache/ or a similar location so once you update one machine you can easily just copy these files to disk and install on another machine. |

sam weldon, if you want a ask aquestion, ask it in your won thread... this guy is already asking questions of his own. and as to your own question... just download the file... your choice of opearating system you want to download a file using is totally irrelevant
