display problems on fedora 11 live boot from flashdrive on machine with NVIDIA geforc

the card is a GeForce GO 7150M. Everything looks perfect when the bootloader starts but once the login screen appears the screen becomes distorted and has black horizontal lines every few pixels. Can anyone help me fix this problem?

Maybe try xdriver=vesa at the kernel boot line?

I think I tried this and it didn't work. I don't know what the kernel boot line is. I pressed tab at the boot up splash screen and entered this @ the end of the default parameters. However I still had the same problem at the login splash screen and it continues to persist at the desktop. the screen cuts into like 3 sections the pointer is @ a different place than actually where it is showing on the screen and it is like there is blank rows of horizontal pixels every few pixels.
