Display issues after installing Fedora

After installation of Fedora 5, and after running the first boot display configuration, on completing the boot, the LCD shows a blue screen with a blurred yellow bar at the screen top several fedora logos show in the blurred area. Mouse is not responsive.

Has anyone seen similar problems? Any known fixes?

you would want to boot into runlevel 3 and setup your display first there and then try to boot in runelevel 5.
when grub loads press "a" two times and then type 3 and hit enter. that should take you to runlevel 3. then type system-config-display --reconfig

That helped

Thanks, I had to use the system-conifg-diplay to manually set the hsync and vsync rates. That fixed it.
