Question Devices Disappear

I run FC6 on a P-III 1.0ghz-Coppermine with 1.5 gigs of SDRAM on a 200 GIG HDD. With this core, I have finally managed to conquer the permissions thingy (had problems in FC4 & FC5), but in my Home folder on my desktop FC6 will not recognize my USB drive or my Floppy. How do I get those back, where I can work with them, and get them to stay there? Thanks in Advance! - - IpowerOne

Lets see if they are seen by the system first. Post contents of /etc/fstab
