Desktop Cleanup FC3
 

Im using GNOME with FedoraCore3, and I would like to know if theres a way to keep my desktop always auto arranged and up to date. Often when I drag a file or folder from a different location to the desktop it wont actually appear there for a few seconds until after the transfer is done or It wont show up and I need to go into Nautilus and my Desktop folder and then click reload and it refreshes the folder contents of the desktop and thats when it appears on the actual desktop for me to click. Also is there a way to keep the Icons locked to grid like so right when I drag something to the desktop it will be lined up with the other icons instead of just being everywhere? I just like everything neat and organized. I havent come across any preferences liike this yet.
