Delete LVM?
 

I want to delete a LVM that I have removed all the data from but the OS still thinks it exists? How can I remove it?

I'm running FC3 and JFS is the filesystem on the LVM. I hope this is enough information.

remove all file sytem before unmounting lvm.
in console, delete with fdisk yourdisk

I thought I would have to also delete some other registration files that help the LVM data.
