default to kde session

Hi,

just moved to Fedora core 3 but the start up screen bugs me.

Is there anyway I can change the startup to start a kde session and load as user without having to tyoe in a user and password?

I havn't tried this yet but I just ran into this screen today that answers this question.

In KDE go to System Settings->Login Screen
On the opening tab there is automatic Login which will allow you to auto login a certain user..

If you have Gnome as your default it will probably load you into that iinstead of KDE.
I am presently on a search to change the default to KDE.

I don't know about your automatic login, but if you wanna set the default session type to be KDE, instead of having to select it everytime...just go to file:/etc/sysconfig and open the desktop file...

You will probably see something like
DESKTOP="GNOME"

You now just have to change it to DESKTOP="KDE" if you want your default session to be KDE...
