Curious k3b problem after upgrade to FC3

I've upgraded to FC3 from FC2, and something funny is up with k3b.

When I select a new data project and click on the tab to burn a new iso image, there is no cd burner for me to select. Any other option, and I can see my drive, apart from to burn an image.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try running it as root, and if that works then chmod 666 to /dev/cdrom (or wherever the cdrecorder is) and chmod 666 to /bin/cdrecord and /bin/cddao
