cups-1.2.0 issue when compiling kde-3.5.2

Hi,
I want to compile kdelib-3.5.2 from source, and after configuring, it said my cups is too old(must>=1.0.9), however, the cups version installed is the newest. What's wrong? Can't kde-3.5.2 recognize cups-1.2.0?

I run FC5

May be you should put your cups directory in ./configure --cups-directory (use ./configure --help to see the correct parameter)

hey tony what happen to u , what make your life so dificult and why u make the whole linux comunitty and users looks dificult need compile those thing from the source

i using fc4 with kde 3.5.2 use yum to install from livna
maybe my fc4 with 2.6.16-1.2096_FC4 is better than current fc5

everything is automated there , compiling make ppl think linux so dificult
