CPU Fan stops working!

Hi I have a fresh install of FC6. every time I have a dual boot (fedora and windows 2003). Every time I boot on linux the CPU fan stops and I get the message while booting

FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq... ...device not found

I have a Dell PowerEdge 1300. It's a P-III 550 MHZ

I've tried upgrading the kernel to the last one but didn't work.

Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Thank you
