core2 + motorola v300 usb phone
I had my motorola v300 almost working for data(ppp) under core1. It locked up after a minute or 2 of transfer, similar to a problem reported by others (but none of their fixes worked for me.) But while it was working it did connect and could ping sites at will.
In core2 I can't even get pppd to open the phone device file. I tired the same device file as with core1: crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 166, 1 Feb 23 15:02 ttyACM1 as well as any others I could think of. Here is the command: /usr/sbin/pppd connect \ '/usr/sbin/chat -v ABORT "NO CARRIER" "" "AT&F" OK \"AT+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"internet2.voicestream.com\"" OK "ATDT*99#" CONNECT' \ /dev/input/ttyACM1 57600 lcp-echo-interval 0 lcp-echo-failure 0 \ defaultroute crtscts noauth \ deflate 0 debug asyncmap 0 noipdefault The backslashes got a little confused in the truncated display above, but this is the script that sort-of-works on core1 so they're not the problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Paul |
