connecting to windows share

Hi.
I have shared folder on my windows machine. also running ftp server. I can access the windows share from my other windows machine. When I try to connect to it from FC4, it keeps asking me for password. I use connect to a remote server utility. I entered my login for windows share. So when I try to authenticate it says You must log in to access user_name@192.168.0.2. I enter my password and it just asks again. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
I'm running in to similar problem when I'm trying to connect to my ftp server. I used to be able to do it, but I messed with it's settings, changing default anounymous name/password to my login/password that I wanted.

Thx.

If these are standalone XP machines the simple file-sharing setting may be your problem.

It's not simple share. The first thing I did was turned it off.
It's set up so that only one specific user can connect to it.
