connecting to internet via gprs
i've Fedora 7 installed along with windows XP as primary OS and i've also learnt that accessing web on linux is quite safe and quick as i use my mobile phone sony k750 and sometimes nokia 3230 for gprs on XP ,but i want 2 use gprs on linux , gnokii is present in fedora 7 but i dont know how 2 use it sony is detected as storage device , i also have the settings stored (username & dial information) recieved from provider , i'am complete newbie for linux and looking for help.

There may not be a driver yet for your device. The output of "lsusb" will be informative. The ID column will show a pair of numbers and sometimes a description. For example

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 050d:0119 Belkin Components
You can search the internet for your "Vendor ID:Device ID" pair and the word "linux" and see if there is a driver out there for your device.
