Connecting Samsung-S7 to my PC

Fedora 23.
Trying to connect Wifi to PC to Samsung-S7.
I have my router showing both PC and S7 Wifi.
I can connect my PC and S7 to router through Firefox from S7 and see all the settings in router.
I have the Wifi setting on PC and S7 setup.
But I can't connect PC 192.168.1.139 or S7 192.168.1.127 using Firefox to each other.

What are you actually trying to accomplish?

I'm trying to connect and download files from my Samsung-S7 to my PC
.
Please do not suggest using another APP, I have already been there and don't care to go back. I'm trying to use AirDroid on my S7.

My PC uses a atandard network card and S7 uses Wifi, The PC and S7 can already connect to the Router ,but won't connect to each other

Without knowing your exact error message or problem it is a bit difficult to provide help. I don't use AirDroid but the first bug that pops up in a search is https.

Are you using http or https? Are you using the correct port?

Steps on mine. Turn on S7. Login into airdroid on it 1st. You must 1st have a successful login on phone app before continuing.

Next. Go to airdroid site on my laptop. Login 1st. Hit start now button. Login again. Why twice. Beats the hell out of me.

Message on Samsung S7 Home screen. Connected to Airdroid.

What shows on my laptop after 2nd login

I don't run Fedora. I then can tranfer files from phone to laptop or vice versa.

If no internet available. I use GMPT and my usb cable from phone to laptop. Does the same thing.

Code:
$ apt-cache policy gmtp
gmtp:
  Installed: 1.3.7-1
  Candidate: 1.3.7-1
  Version table:
 *** 1.3.7-1 0
        500 http://ftp.gr.debian.org/debian/ jessie/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

There could be several mtp packages installed i.e libmtp, gvfs-mtp, jmtpfs, kio_mtp, mtpfs. You can use the dnf command to see and remove installed packages.

dnf list --installed

Did you click on the upgrade notification without realizing it was a major upgrade?
