Compiz 0.0.13 fc6 RPM. Why not 0.3.6?
Hello,
I'm using Compiz with Fedora Core 6. The latest fc6 package is 0.0.13.
Why? Now compiz 0.3.6 is out and is really better then 0.0.13.
Why Fedora don't make an updated rpm for compiz?

My guess would be that you are comparing two differant types of compiz. Such as quinn's compiz or the vanilla compiz.

Sincerely I don't know the difference between Vanilla version and quinn's one but I know that vanilla compiz is at 0.3.6 and I can't find an RPM of this version

The latest stable version is 0.2.2 and the development release is 0.3.6. I guess the compiz maintainer for Fedora Core has not had time to build new rpms.

I've got 0.0.13.
Searching on google I haven't find 0.2.2. Where can I download it?
Thanks.

Like I said, the Fedora Core versions of compiz have not been updated at all lately so the version is still 0.0.13. On the compiz website, the source code for the latest stable and development releases is available.
