The beta KDE 3.2 rpms are on any FTP mirror for KDE.org.

Here is the link to the OSnews piece OSnews 3.2 Beta on Fedora

Good luck Brother !

Problem the rpm's wont install. They need some libaries that my install does not have, and I can't find them in with the other rpms on download mirriors.

Next problem, will this KDE if it is for Fedora be just like the standard Fedora Core KDE? If so, its no good. I am going for a pure KDE. something which I am failing at.

More later I am tired...

I'm no expert on this but it should be pure KDE since it comes straight from KDE.org and via RH/Fedora. They are just compiled for Fedora.

There will be some missing dependencies. That's why you should install with 'rpm -Uvh ./*.rpm --nodeps --force' like the article said. 3.2 should be independent of 3.1 so if it fails, you will still have 3.1 to fall back on.

Well I did an "apt-get install kdebase" and that put kde on my linux install. Unfortunatly it downloaded all of the bluecurve stuff too...sigh...oh well. it loads a lot faster for some reason than it used though.

Cooooool

I like KDE. And bananas.

Sorry to hear about the bluecurve stuff, I think that's because they are official RH repositories and so get the RH packages. I did once find a KDE repository and then promptly lost the link. Them's the breaks!

...sigh...I've ruined my install cd...

I have unistalled and reinstalled that many times.

I'll have to download a new one to continue. Thus far I have been really really pleased with the speed that a minimal install gives you.

Mike
