Cisco Aironet 350 series PCMCIA with FC1
Hi,
I want to install Fedora Core 1 on my laptop wich comes with Cisco Wireless 350 PCMCIA adapter. 1. Will FC1 work with this card using 128-bit WEP encryption? 2. Will it also work if I upgrade to Kernel 2.6.0? 3. If it works, how do I configure it properly? Well I don't know if this questions has been asked before, but I'm a total newbie in the Linux area coming from a Win32 world If there's any other distro that works with this card, then please tell me. Cheers rjpa |

1. Yes, I'm using one right now, 128 bit encrypted, works fine.
2. Yes, in theory. ;-) 3. Main Menu > System Settings > Network. The only snag I ran into was my Linksys at home was expecting channel 6, and the GUI defaulted to 1, took me a try or two to catch that. --jeremy |

Are you using DHCP for IP addressing or static IP? /rjpa |
