Chinese editing

Hi Folks,

FC6

I have scim running on this box:

# find / -name scim
Code:
/usr/bin/scim
/usr/share/scim
/etc/scim
What additional packages are necessary for chinese editing?

TIA

B.R.

I was able to get SCIM working on KUbuntu Linux 6.06, but not SKIM. I'll just post a quick reply to get you started. One web page that was helpful was:
http://www.scim-im.org/wiki/document...ubuntu_kubuntu

Also, when I installed the SCIM package in KUbuntu, it said:
Suggested packages:
scim-uim scim-hangul scim-chewing scim-m17n scim-prime scim-anthy scim-skk scim-canna scim-tables-additional scim-tables-ja scim-tables-ko scim-chinese

Recommended packages:
im-switch m17n-env

Hope it gets you started.

Wups, I just noticed that this thread is in the Fedora forum. I must have wandered in here by accident. Anyway, maybe my info will still help.
