Changing Mplayer in Firefox
 
Hello again fellow linux users,my Q's is can I change from the default "mplayer" to another player.I a have problem with mplayer and streaming content.I've download Real Player 10 for linux,but cant change firefox mozilla to use real player 10
Any pointers on how-to,what parameters need changing etc to make Real player my new default player when streaming.

To remove mplayer from firefox just do a:

# yum remove mplayer-plugin

From there you can then install another player of your choice. Just make sure it has a plugin for browsers. I haven't tried realplayer but I would suspect it would so you should be good to go.
