changing default desktop in FC3

hello.

I'd like to change my default desktop to fluxbox on startup. Fluxbox is in the list of desktops to choose from gdm login screen, and works fine if selected. I changed the /etc/sysconfig/desktop file to DESKTOP="XDM" but it loads GNOME.

Any ideas?

Use from the console or xterm session use switchdesk, see the manpage for the details, try something like;

switchdesk FLUXBOX
