cdrecord can't write to the dvd/cd r/w drive
I have Fedora Core 2
I have a dvd/cd r/w drive.
cdrecord -scanbus finds the drive
scsibus1:
1,0,0 100) 'SONY ' 'CD-ROM CDU5221 ' '1.02' Removable CD-ROM
1,1,0 101) 'PIONEER ' 'DVD-RW DVR-106D' '1.07' Removable CD-ROM
1,2,0 102) *
1,3,0 103) *
1,4,0 104) *
1,5,0 105) *
1,6,0 106) *
1,7,0 107) *
but the command:
cdrecord -v -eject speed=4 dev=1,1,0 FC-5-i386-disc1.iso
results in this
TOC Type: 1 = CD-ROM
scsidev: '1,1,0'
scsibus: 1 target: 1 lun: 0
cdrecord: No such device or address. Cannot open '/dev/sg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
Does any one have any ideas how to get around this problem so I can burn the ISOs to CD?
