Exclamation cannot play online videos with firefox?


hi,
i use fc5 and by defualt the mplayer with it's mozilla plguins are installed but when i want to play the online music this is the error:
Mpayer plugin
embeded video player for mozilla
ERROR:mplayer execv: no such file or directory

any one can help please?

Hmm - I use FC3, but I compiled the MPlayer plugin for FireFox (and MPlayer itself) from scratch. The error message you get seems to indicate that either MPlayer itself, or the plugin file (maybe?) are missing.

Generally, I've found that sometimes stuff a distro provides "stock" are not correctly (or completely) configured to suit my needs. Try seeing if you can compile the plugin yourself.
