Cannot install Xerces-J2 update

The Fedora 6 Package updater says there is a "Xerces-J2" update available. When I try to download it, it says it needs a "xml-commons-resolver11-1.3.03-10jpp" dependency. When I try to proceed downloading both, I get an "error updating software" message with this description:

Quote:

[('file /usr/bin/xml-resolver from install of xml-commons-resolver11-1.3.03-10jpp conflicts with file from package xml-commons-resolver-1.1-3jpp', (7, '/usr/bin/xml-resolver', 0L)), ('file /usr/bin/xml-xparse from install of xml-commons-resolver11-1.3.03-10jpp conflicts with file from package xml-commons-resolver-1.1-3jpp', (7, '/usr/bin/xml-xparse', 0L)), ('file /usr/bin/xml-xread from install of xml-commons-resolver11-1.3.03-10jpp conflicts with file from package xml-commons-resolver-1.1-3jpp', (7, '/usr/bin/xml-xread', 0L)), ('file /usr/share/java/xml-commons-resolver.jar from install of xml-commons-resolver11-1.3.03-10jpp conflicts with file from package xml-commons-resolver-1.1-3jpp', (7, '/usr/share/java/xml-commons-resolver.jar', 0L))]
Does this make sense to anybody? Any suggestions? Thanks!

The solution in post #3 in this thread seems to have fixed the problem:
