worldmagic Member Registered: Oct 2003 Location: Europe/Sweden Distribution: RedHat Posts: 78 Rep:	cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires Hello. I was upgrading to Fedor from a RH9 using apt-get dist-upgrade. Everything looked fine.. until it crashed with this error: "cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires" Now rpm crashes with this error and alot of other programs do to. Any clues? I have not installed a new kernel with the exec-shield.
