Cannot change boot loader

I run a dual-boot system, and just removed Mandriva so I could install Fedora. MY problem is that I deleted the boot loader after i had installed fedora (because the mandriva loader was still showing up). Anway right now it just goes right to windows, and I can't figure out how to switch it.

I have booted up several times from the CD and tried to change it, however at the very end of it, it goes 'no boot loader installed' or something along those lines and nothing gets changed.

any help would be extremely appreciated
