Can you determine an RPMs compile options?

I am trying to debug an issue where an RPM that is installed via YUM on FC4 appears to be missing some options that is was supposedly configured with. I am not sure if the RPM is incorrect or my the underlying dependencies aren't working correctly. Is there a mechanism to analyze what compile options (configure or make file) were in place when the RPM was generated?

Please enlighten me or point me to the the place to RTFM.

AFAIK, no. The only way to get that is the .src.rpm's .spec file.

you could always run # rpm -qi <package> and maybe there are contact details for the package maintainer. Otherwise, no there is no way of determining the compile options.
