First, try updating your system to the latest FC3 kernel (2.6.12-1.1381_FC3).

You are using the FC3 installation kernel. Your problem may go away when you update.

Are you using SMP compatible hardware? If yes, a description might be useful.ful.

From the console/terminal, run:

yum update kernel*
--OR--
yum update

The last one updates everything.

Hi WhatsHisName

I have followed your command to try it on FC3.
But the system shows I don't have any GPG public keys installed.
And the system needs me to download the "public.gpg.key" package to install.
That is so bad...

Do you have easier way to update kernel?
Maybe I need the FC3 kernel (2.6.12-1.1381_FC3) to update directly.
So would you pls tell me where can I download it directly?
Pls help again.

Thanks.
