can not access samba shares from a VIRTUAL samba server using smb4k

hello everyone
i have recently set up a samba server to work as a couple of virtual servers.. one in 'security = user' level access and the other in 'security = share' level access.

the configuration does work as expected from a winxp machine...

from my fedora 9 laptop however, i try to access the servers through smb4k.
while the primary server (the one i list in my main smb.conf file with a netbios name) i can access fine, the same is not true for the 2ndary server (which is listed in my main smb.conf file as netbios alias)...

the error i get is the following
Quote:

Could not connect to server STARPOOL
Connection failed: NT_STATUS_HOST_UNREACHABLE
note starpool is the 2ndary virtual server...

how can i solve thata problem
thank you for your help
