Unhappy Just installed FC2, can't start X server "no screens found"

I just got Fedora Core 2 installed, but when I tried booting it for the first time, the screen showing stuff like "localhost login:" showed as expected, but then when normally it would give the graphical login screen (at least in Red Hat 9, which worked perfectly fine on the same system), the screen went blank for a second and the same screen (with "localhost login:") showed again. This happened ~5 times. After that, it complained that the X server couldn't be started, so all I could get was bash.

Here's a snippet of /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
Code:

...

you need to run XF86Config, it'll produce a XF86Config file in your home directory. Copy that file to /etc/X11 as root.
Backup the original /etc/X11/XF86config first by copying that file to a new name.

Thanks for the tip, Squall! I'll try that later today. I don't think the problem is hard drive space, since I have ~10GB free.

Um... I try to run XF86Config, and also things like XF86config and xf86config, but I get a "command not found". I believe FC2 uses X.org, not XFree86.

I just recently upgraded from RH9, and this has become very confusing.
