Can't install modem driver
Hi. I'm using Fedora Core 2 and I'm trying to install the driver for the Neto Dragon 56k voice modem. I'm using the slmdm-2.7.10 driver which works fine on SuSE 9.0. The problem is when I try to compile I get a lot of errors on FC2. The Readme says I must set the right path to the kernel headers, so I tried /lib/modules/<kernel_version>/build, /lib/modules/<kernel_version>, /usr/src/linux/include and /usr/src/linux, but I get no results.
I also tried to install the slmodem-2.9.10 and the slmodem-2.9.10_netodragon (which is a modified version of the previous one, I think) and all the compilation process goes fine and apparently installs fine, but doesn't create all the necessary entries on /dev. It creates /dev/slamr0-3 and /dev/slusb0-3 entries, but doesn't create /dev/ttySL0 whcih is supposed to be a link to some entry number on /dev/pts. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
