Can't boot with H.D. conected

This is bad!I installed fedora core 2 test today,everything went fine but when I tried to reboot,nothing so I tried to boot of of one of my other C.D.s,don't have a floppy drive,nothing,so I unhooked the hard drive,and I can boot into knoppix or mepis,and then plug the drive back in and it doesn't show up,thanks ahead of time,david

What two systems are you dual booting?

I only use one,I installed core 2 and when I went to reboot,it stoped at the bios screen and would not do anything so I turned it off,tried it again a few times and nothing,so I unpluged the hard drive and I'm on a live cd now just so I can ask if there is anything I can do and what could be wrong,thanks david

Try booting from your core 2install disk and run linux rescue when it gets to the boot prompt.
If that doesn't work you will have to reinstall core 2.
