bzflag crashes in Fedora Core with nvidia drivers

Just got a frest install of Fedora on my computer and downloaded the latest nVidia drivers from livna (9631). Obviously, I had to get the best game of all time on it. Installation of bzflag was successful, but running it crashed. Executing it in the terminal gave the following error message:

Code:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 134 (XFree86-VidModeExtension)
Minor opcode of failed request: 10 (XF86VidModeSwitchToMode)
  Value in failed request: 0x186
Serial number of failed request: 144
Current serial number in output stream: 146
Glxgears reports around 1400 fps, which is normal for my GeForce 6200.

This game works in Ubuntu with the 8776 drivers.
