building rpm from sources


hi everybody,
i'm trying to build rpm package from sources (rpm-4.4.2).
when i first ran "./configure;make" i saw some error with selinux, so i ran "./configure --without-selinux;make", the effect was:

i'm running under "lfs" system, but i think it is right place to post this thread because fedora is rpm-based distro...

Well, you're missing lots of build requirements, which provide the needed C header files and libraries. They are usually in packages called something-devel (where the -devel postfix means it's a package for software development).
