Bridge br0 on FC12 , No Network

The Virtual Guest is not setup until I can get a operational Network on FC12.

I have a Bridge br0 setup to eth0, but when I reboot box I have no Network present for Fedora 12.

NetworkManager is disabled

Network Configuration shows br0 as Active but eth0 is Inactive .

Below is /var/log/messages for br0 and eth0

These two lines below in messages are saying something about the IP of 192.168.122.1 , I do not have the 198.168.x.x on my Network,
the IP's are all 172.16.x.x

What is this all about ?

May 4 14:32:07 localhost avahi-daemon[1390]: Registering new address record for 192.168.122.1 on virbr0.IPv4.

May 4 14:32:07 localhost dnsmasq[1843]: failed to bind listening socket for 192.168.122.1: Address already in use

I also had issues with setting up a bridge on FC 12.

Can you post:

1. #brctl show all
2. Contents of your ifcfg-eth0 network script file

Once you reboot, is there any way of restoring networking?

I know that I did a custom script to persist the bridge network scenario on my box to get it to work...will try to locate it and post if i can find it

I was not able to setup a Static connection, I had to setup a DHCP connection to get it to work.

Yes, I would like to see your Script.

Thanks

Apologies - can't seem to find it - I know I found it via a lot of Googling...had to unfortunately clean-install my machine which destroyed a lot of my scripts...will continue searching and PM you if i find it
