I have a funny problem that I don't know how can solve it.
My problem is this
I until past few month use Linux (any distro) beside MS-Windows lately
I upgraded my main board (I had a P3 133 Ausu main board) and from
that time until now when I installed any distro of Linux when system
boot up and I choice Window as my option this is stop working!!!
At the first I thought this problem is backed to Linux boot loader GRUB
I change it to LILO but everything was on its place and my problem
didn't solve. When I remove Linux boot loader with 'FDISK /mbr' and
restarted my system I noticed that this problem is backed to the
MS-Windows because just when I remove Linux partions the system
boot up with Windows normally.
How have you installed grub ? In your master boot record or on the first linux partition ? After your explanation, I think it could be your boot loader problem.
I must said that i don't think I have Linux boot loader
problem because when I remove boot loader with
"FIDKS /MBR" and restart the computer the problem
didn't sovle. Just when I remove the Linux partitions
system boot normally.
I think this problem is backed to the Windows Bootloader
that cannot recognize the Linux partitions.
