Booting from an external Hard Drive, GRUB.
I have the following configuration:
Windows XP on my Internal HDD: 80GB Fedora 9 on my External HDD: 120GB I installed Fedora on my external drive and GRUB is now resident on my external HDD, as I cannot even boot the computer without attaching the external HDD. I know I should have modified GRUB during the install, but its too late now. Can someone help me with that? Thanks a lot! |
It's may not be just the MBR (both of them) that needs to be fixed. Let's see the output from the following (might need root)
Code:
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst |
