boot script?

Hi
I am using FC2 on old school hardware. On x86 arch AMD 900mhz with 133 bus.
What happens when I lose power and I reboot the settings in the aumix utility places everything back to 0.

My first question is how do I have my settings saved so when the box is started again my volumes are saved. It is an inconvient to run aumix everytime I restart. The power technology in my neighborhood has not changed since the '50s so this is a common occurance.

My second question is how to create a gui on KDE to run this process. I have been screwing with tkl/tc and perl. How would I write a program to accomplish this task?

You can save the volume levels with "aumix -S".

It may actually be worth investing in a UPS if you are having power problems, it's likely to save you money in the long run.
