Boot screen

I was wondering if there was a way to change the boot files so that KDE starts up with the logon screen and not gnome. Thanks, help would be greatly appreciated!

Since you are in Fedora, at the log in screen click "sessions" (I believe that is what it is called), select KDE and say yes when you are asked if you want it to be the default.

when i do that it does not ask me if i would like to make kde default...

Odd. When you opened it, the session bit, which radio button was selected? That would have been your previous default. To be honest, cosmetically in everything from RH8 and up, KDE and Gnome are identical. D*mned Bluecurve theme!
