boot from CD install from DVD

Hello.

I'm going to try installing FC5 but I don't want to burn 5 CDs.
I've found a site that tells you how to make as DVD from the 5 CD isos ( http://wiki.ehow.com/Create-a-Live-Linux-DVD-from-Fedora-CD-ISO's ).

My question is can I burn the FC5 first CD, put the other 4 CDs onto a single DVD, then boot from CD1 and then use the DVD I just made?

The reason for this convoluted approach is that my motherboard, for some reason I cannot understand, will not boot from a DVD. I'm trying to get around this limitation by booting from the first FC5 CD and then getting the rest of the install packages from a custom DVD.

Has anyone done this kind of setup?

Thanks.

I'm not sure this would work, but you can.....

Burn the all of CD's to the DVD, to make the DVD visit;
ftp://people.redhat.com/ckloiber/ and get mkdvdiso.sh or use what you found.

Cavet you will need lots of space for this 3x the size of the 5 CD's, 1x for the ISO images, 1x for the extracted files and 1x for the DVD ISO image.

Copy the boot.iso file from the first CD or the created DVD and burn the boot CD and switch to the DVD or try;
