bonehead mistake deleted partitions on wrong disk

I deleted the partitions on the wrong disk. When I booted into recovery mode I assumed sdb, was sdb and not hda, but hda had been recodnized as sdb. Anyway I did not double check and I know that is the first rule The drives are the same size. I was trying to upgrade my myth box before the kids awoke.

Is there anyway to recover the partions. I have not reformated the disk or partitioned it yet.

Thanks.

If you know the exact settings for the deleted partition table you can recreate the partition table using fdisk from a live CD. This only works if you recreate the partition table exactly as it was before.
