Beagle error message when trying to search files

I get this very friendly message when trying to search for files.
"Unable to connect to Beagle daemon"
The question is why this message as I have several times re-installed Beagle. The even better question is how do I fix this so I can search for files with Fedora.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

It appears that your beagle daemon is not starting when you start the search function from the desktop. This could be to a broken link. If you have reinstalled several times, it is obviously not with the program itself. Take a look at the beagled file itself located in /usr/bin/beagled. The man pages for beagled explains where the links are located and how the daemon is started.

Hope this helps

Bob
