Backup files from Novell 5 to Fedora 5 is it possible?

I would like Backup files from Novell 5 to Fedora 5 is it possible? I have a Fedora box that has over 800 Gig of storage and would like to store backups with out manually doing it.

The underlying technologies are the same across Linux distributions, so it should be fine whichever method that you choose. There are *many* backup utilities available, so which you use depends on your needs and taste. IIRC, the built-in SUSE backup function is pretty limited compared to most.

Personally, I use scripts to run rdiff-backup, which is a easy-to-use command-line utility, but there are graphical tools as well.
